The owners of Republic Films, Chris Davies and Brandon Rhea, are about to begin a project called the "Earth Wars Trilogy". Brandon Rhea and Chris Davies wrote the draft for "Chapter One". Brandon Rhea will direct it while Chris Davies will produce is. This page is dedicated to bringing all the latest information once the movie begins post-production.

Brandon Rhea on the Story of Earth Wars

This originally started out as a five minute lightsaber duel about land disputes on Dantooine. Who knew it would turn into an entire trilogy? Chris is an amazing person to work with, and is one of the most talented writers I have ever seen. It's easy to write with someone on a film than it is to write by yourself. He has had some amazing ideas.

I had originally imagined a story about one young Jedi who was forced to become the leader of the order once the masters were killed. He befriended another Jedi and they both took over the responsibility of training the Jedi Order. Over time, the first Jedi became corrupted by the Dark Side and decided that there didn't need to be a Jedi Order anymore. He was eventually redeemed and he "brought balance to the Force" on Earth.

The basic story is the same but it has become much, much bigger than this. No Star Wars fan will be dissapointed once they see this epic trilogy finished!

Synopsis

The first part of the Trilogy is about two teenaged Jedi on Earth. They must try to figure out who murdered all the Jedi Masters before the rest of the Jedi Order is killed as well. Patrick Bac (Brandon Rhea) is in contact with Jonathon Daniels, the only person who knows of their existance, while Taylor Saint (Chris Davies) tries to figure out the mystery of the murder. During their mission, Patrick and Taylor meet up with a Jedi, Zios Malachor, who supposedly just arrived from Coruscant. The trio of Jedi must now figure out what happened before it is too late. But, not all may be as it seems. They have two possible suspects: a Sith Lord or another Jedi...

Chris Davies on the Story of Earth Wars

It's funny to think that a short five minute movie about land disputs turned into this terrific trilogy! I found out how much easier it is to write alongside another person. Swapping ideas and putting them into the script is really fun. Once we had the basic storyline for Earth Wars going, I was amazed at how broad it became. Some of the stuff I can't believe Brandon thought of. He's really a talented writer and a pleasure to work with. Sometimes I look back at what he's written and go "Damn, how'd he think of that?"

This is without a doubt the biggest movie I have ever worked on. I also know that it will be the best. All Star Wars fans will be happy once they see Earth Wars! This is a trilogy that will keep you guessing until the very end. I'm so excited about this film! I can't wait to start filming!
